Hi, I'm Ailie, the founder of SurfaBabe.
My story starts in Hawaii, where I grew up surfing and loving the ocean.
During the pandemic, my family decided to go on a big adventure. We sold everything and lived on a boat, sailing through the Caribbean, Colombia, and Panama. We saw many beautiful places and learned about different cultures.
The big moment came when I got terrible chemical burns from a laundry detergent we bought at the store. From the burn, I was unable to sleep for many days and it took weeks to heal. That's when I decided to make my own Natural Laundry Soap, and SurfaBabe was born!
We then moved to Vietnam, where I finished my high school studies early at age 16. Throughout our travels, we always tried to live healthily, but we had trouble finding good, natural products that worked well and didn't cost too much.
One day in Vietnam, we made our own natural sunscreen for a school project. We were surprised when it worked better than store-bought ones, even during long surf sessions. This made us want to try making more natural products at home.
SurfaBabe isn't just about selling products. We want to help people find safe, effective, and affordable natural alternatives for everyday use. We believe in being honest about our ingredients, making products that work well, and taking care of the environment.
